Arsenal FC Defeated in Tujereng Semi-Final

Arsenal FC was defeated by Queen Park Rangers by 2 goals to 1 in the semi-final of the Tujereng Sports knockout football tournament played at Tujereng football field Saturday.

Jerreh Jaiteh opened the scoresheet in the 31st minute of the game for Arsenal FC, while Kawsu Jammeh’s long shot restored the purity of Queen Park Rangers in the 69th minute of the game.

Malanding Bojang 87 minutes goal that decided the well-attended match that qualified Queen Park Rangers for the grand final.

Speaking to The Voice Sports, Sulayman Ndong, the captain of Queen Park Rangers expressed his joy at the victory and said that their victory was a historic moment.

”We have booked our place into the ”Nawettan” and the knockout tournament but it was not an easy competition”, he noted.

Jerreh Jaiteh the captain of Arsenal FC in his dismay said that they failed to defend their opponent.

”We will bounce back next season to perform better, he said.
