Momodou Mbaye Ndow pleaded not guilty to robbing Yafatou Dem on Wednesday when he appeared before the Kanifing High Court presided over by Justice Isatou Janneh.
According to the particulars of his offense Momodou Mbaye Ndow on or about the 5th day of May 2022, at Paradise Estate old Yundum, West Coast Region he and six other people robbed one Yafatou Dem by forcefully entering her house, threatening to stab her with a cutlass and a knife, and forcefully took her jewelry worth three thousand dalasi (D3000) and a cash sum of twenty-six thousand dalasi and thereby committed an offense
Prosecutor A. A Marong applied for an adjournment which was not objected to by the Council, Barrow lawyer for the accused person.
Justice Isatou Janneh, however, granted the State’s request, and adjourned the matter to 20th February 2023, at noon.
