The Gambia U-20, Young Scorpions will leave the Gambia tomorrow Tuesday for this month’s TotalEnergies U20 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Speaking to GFF Media, Pa Suwareh Fye, the Team Manager revealed that the team is expected to travel to Cairo, Egypt, on Tuesday 14th February where they will play an international friendly match against Mozambique before leaving for their base during the tournament in Alexandria.
The Young Scorpions will train again later this evening and an extra two sessions on Sunday (morning and evening) before playing their final local test match against Second Division side BK Milan on Monday morning.
Meanwhile, Forwards Kajally Drammeh (Cape Town City) and Mamin Sanyang (FC Bayern Munich) will link up with their teammates in Cairo.
In the same development, Gambian referee Lamin N Jammeh has been selected by CAF as one of the match officials for this month’s TotalEnergies U20 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
