The Minister of Tourism and Culture, Hon Hamat NK Bah on Sunday joined the Italian counterpart, Minister of Tourism, Daniela Santanche to cut the ribbon marking the official opening of this year’s BIT-Milano Fair underway in Milan, Italy.
Minister Bah who was also one of the keynote speakers at the Tourism Ministers roundtable conference was invited to join in cutting the ribbon for the official opening of the fair by Minister Daniela Santanche.
The Gambia delegation to this year’s International Tourism Fair (BIT) in Milan, Italy included the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, the Director General of the Gambia Tourism Board, the Director of Tourism Promotion based in Spain as well as the Counselor, Gambia Embassy in Spain and among other senior officials of both MoTC and GTBoard.
BIT-Milano Fair is one of Europe’s leading travel convergences and this year’s fair opens from the 12th to 14th of February 2023 at the Fiera Milano Exhibition Centre in Milan, Italy, and anticipated to have over 2000 Exhibitors and over 60,000 visitors from around the globe.
BIT Fair brings together travel agencies, tour operators, and tourism boards under one roof to exchange experiences with the endeavor to shape the face of travel and tourism for the upcoming year.
The international exhibition target tourists and travelers in today’s economic and social climate.
The Gambia’s Stand at the fair is being highly visited by travel agents, journalists, bloggers, tour operators, and others alike including the Ministers of Tourism of both Italy and Zimbabwe since the event kicked off on Monday.
