Ministry of Public Service (MoPS) FC stayed top of the friendly football encounters and maintained their winning routine against their counterparts from Government institutions.
Over the weekend MoPS defeated their counterpart Government institution, Department of Information Service (DoIS) three goals to zero at a friendly encounter played at Latri-Kunda Upper Basic school football pitch grounds along Kairaba Avenue highway.
Muhammed Conteh of MoPS FC opened his institution’s first goal in the 45th minutes of the first half of the encountered while Lamin Jallow in the 2nd half of the encountered, netted MoPS FC’s two goals that gave his institution as a routine winner of the ongoing friendly football matches between Government institutions.
Following are the results for PMO’s previous matches against their counterparts Government institutions: Ministry of Public Service 3 Ministry of Communication 2, Ministry of Public Service 2 Ministry of Finance 2, Ministry of Public Service 2 Accountant General Department 2, Ministry of Public Service 3 Ministry of Finance 2, Ministry of Public Service 3 Finance 1 and Ministry of Public Service 3 and Ministry of Communication 0.
The Coach for MoPS FC, Sulayman Barrow expressed his delight for the successful performance of his institution’s football team against their counterparts’ institutions.
“I am inviting on Government institutions and parastatals to put forward their interest of playing with us (MoPS) in a friendly football match thus based on mutual understanding and corporation,” Sulayman Barrow concludes.
