International friendly, Gambia 1- Mozambique1

The Gambia U-20 and counterpart Mozambique played 1-1 draw as part of their preparation ahead of the Total Energies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt on Thursday.

Momodou Salieu Jallow opened the scoring as he coiled in a spectacular shot into the roof of the net with seven minutes into the contest in Cairo. However, Mozambique equalised for a share of the spoils.

Kajally Drammeh and Mamin Sanyang were both given a starting spot in the first half and the duo exhibited a deadly combination on the right wing that caught the eye for many.

Kajally speaking in a post-match interview with the GFF Media after the game said he was impressed with the performance of the team. He noted that with a little orientation of what is required from the team, he is optimistic for a glory at the end of the tournament. The team will continue to train in Cairo before joining the rest of their group C opponents in Alexandria at the weekend.
