Police prosecutor Commissioner Abdoulie Sanneh applied for the bail of the Bakau attackers to be revoked because they failed to appear before the court.
Seven out of thirty-three accused persons who were charged with seven counts of conspiracy yesterday failed to appear before Principal Magistrate Omar Jabang of Kanifing, prompting the prosecutor to apply for their bail to be revoked.
Prosecutor Sanneh in his application applied for the bail of the following accused persons to be cancelled without formally communicating to the court: Momodou S. Jallow, AmadouJallow, Mustapha Sanneh, Pa LaminJammeh, AlieuSaineySanyang, Pa ModouJatta, Lamin Saho and AlieuJallow’s failure to appear in the court was a dishonor to the court.

However, Magistrate Jabang ordered the co-accused persons who were present in court to inform those who were absent to appear during the next sitting before he will terminate their bail.
The hearing resumes on March 9 for continuation.
