The Vice President of The Gambia Mohammed B.S Jallow, on Monday, 15th May 2023 received in the audience the chairman of the Pastors’ Intercessory Fellowship and others at the State House.
During the visiting session, Vice President Jallow thanked the faith group for reaching out to him and presenting a copy of a book authored by the chairman, Bishop Prof Augustin Bernards, the book is on the importance of prayer in nation-building.
Speaking to the media shortly after he met with Vice President Mohammed B.S Jallow, he said they came to congratulate the Vice President on his appointment and also pray for him for success in his work as the vice president of the country. Adding that, “I used that privilege to present my book, which is the significance of prayer in nation building to him.”
Meanwhile, the Bishop said VP Jallow in retuned urged them to continue to pray for the peace, security, and stability of the Gambia.
Among other issues discussed, he said include religious tolerance.
