Fallou Sene, a 15-year-old boy and student was reported been killed during the bloody demonstration that followed the verdict condemning one of the country’s oppositions, Ousman Sonko, to 2 years in prison for inciting violence in the country.
The incident happened last Thursday, between 17:00hrs to 18:00hrs, as the mother cried in pain when she was explaining how she lost her son in the protest.
According to Seneweb publication, Fallou Sene was a student in the sixth grade at the School of Scientists.
The mother of late Fallou, Fatimata known as Ndeye LO, narrated “I was taking a bath, while he (Fallou Sene) went out behind me, as soon as I got out of the shower, I started looking for him, and I was told he went to the demonstration.”
Thus, she said other witnesses said Fallou Sene had gone out “Out of curiosity” and that’s how he got stuck between protesters and the Security officers.
Ndeye LO in her agony situation called on the Senegalese authorities to bring peace, saying Senegal is known as a country of “teranga” (hospitality).
