Greater Tomorrow and PSV Wellingara cancelled out each other in the battle for relegation while Samger held GAF to a goalless draw.
Fofana’s first-half strike was enough for Marimoo Pakfood to beat leaders Falcons 1-0 at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum. The victory saw the Manjai-based outfit move to 3rd in the standings with 41 points.
Meanwhile, relegation-threatened Greater Tomorrow came from two goals down to force a 2-2 draw against fellow strugglers PSV Wellingara in Brikama. Modou Lamin Bojang and Modou Jallow gave Wellingara a dream start, but Abdoulie Baldeh and Amadou Sowe made sure the points were shared. Elsewhere, GAF and Samger played out a goalless draw in Bakau.
In League Division Two, Elite United beat basement side Kuteh Jombulu 0-1 in Soma, with Ebrima Jagne’s 15-minute strike. The win moves Elite to second with 50 points, five points adrift of leaders TMT FC.
