Police PRO Confirms arrest of Guinean man over recycling of expired Mayonnaise

Following the recent trending information across the country after the public notice posted on social media by the Banjul City Mayor, Her Lordship Rohey Malick Lowe to call the attention of everyone to the ugly criminal attitude of some miscreants who are recycling expired Mayonnaise around the Sting Corner/Saro area, the police has confirmed the arrest of a Guinean man over the act.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Binta Njie Jatta confirmed the arrest of the Guinea man saying by her report, it “indicates 1 Guinean National was arrested. Except that the women found at the site were called to give her statement.”

It could be recalled that the Mayor of Banjul City Council posted a public notice recently saying “The Banjul City Council under my leadership is hereby informing the public that we’ve intercepted people who are recycling expired mayonnaise from the dump site to transform it into cooking oil. The culprits are under police custody.
