Gambia Football Federation women’s second division champions Jeshwang United continued to struggle in the women’s first division championship.
Jeshwang United succumbed to a 1-3 defeat to the Police ladies with Cathrine Jatta scoring a hattrick and Matty Jarju with the home side’s lone goal in the 63rd minute.

Second-place Berewuleng condemned Future Bi to a 3-1 defeat, on Sunday with Mafanta Drammeh, Serra Jarju, and KaddijatouDrammeh all on the scoresheet for Bere while Miran Sanyangnetted for Future Bi.
On Monday, leaders Red Scorpions beat basement side City Girls 3-1 with Kumba Kuyateh, Maimuna Dukureh, and Fatoumatta Jammeh on target for the defending champions while Sally Saidykhan converted the spot kick that resulted in a consolation before the half time break.
The results saw the top three unchanged with Red Scorpions leading the way with 40 points collected out of a possible 42, Berewuleng remained second with 36 points while Police ladies are further away with 25 points.
Meanwhile, in the second division, week 16 took centre on Saturday with Brikama beating Immigration. 1-0. KaddijatouJallow scored the only goal for Brikama.
In other matches, Astou Diop and Arokey Mendy were on target for Trust in a 2-0 win over Yakarr while Kintehs drew goalless with Lower Niumi.

Greater Tomorrow moved on top of the standings with 38 points, 2 points ahead of second place Immigration while Brikama is in 3rd place with 34 points.
