Mauritius and Gambia will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) shortly, the Mauritian Government Information Service (GIS) said on Saturday.
In a press note, it said the MoU aims at fostering cooperation in the areas of digital Government development and upgrading of data centres.
Expertise and know-how in the field of e-Governance, cooperation for capacity building and transfer of knowledge and expertise will also be dealt with.
Additionally, cooperation in emerging technologies, research and development and joint organisation of workshops, seminars, conferences, study tours and training sessions, joint working groups in the field of ICT will be organised.
