A Senegalese and Gambian were remanded in custody following their reported arrests on suspicion of being found in possession of Marijuana.
36-year-old Fadel Jaw was in August of this yeararrested by DLEAG operatives at Jenoi checkpointwith bundles and one parcel of suspected Cannabis Sativa concealed in brown paper, DLEAG said on Thursday.
According to the agency, the drug was placed inside a yellow plastic bag and further placed inside a black traveling bag.
DLEAG said the suspect was arrested in a Senegalese commercial vehicle.
Meanwhile, 23-year-old Jerreh Camara of Batokunkuvillage was arrested on 9 August 2023, at around 17:16hrs onwards with 59 wraps of suspected Cannabis Sativa concealed in white papers, DLEAG reported.
All the suspects are in custody while investigations continue, it said.
