Twenty indecent Nigerian ladies of Brikama Durumakolong on Tuesday pleaded not guilty to idle and disorder at the BrikamaMagistrates’ Court ,presided over by principal magistrate SallahMbai.
Anthony Anita ,Chima Joy , Favour Ehikioya ,Victor Ubabuko,Rita Charle , Callistas Chimaka , Blessing Godwin , IsiweleFavour ,Chiwendu Okafor , Erika Omorodion , Blessing Alfred, Goodness John, Anita Ndawen ,Eva Ibeawchi , Blessing Chakalu , Mmesoma Joy , Titi Justice , Happy Frank , Joy Friday and Mary Dan yesterday pleaded not guilty to the charge of idle and disorder.
However, prosecutor Corporal 5099 Mariama Ngum in her application for the adjournment of the case for the commencement of the hearing did not oppose the bail of the accused person.
At this juncture , magistrate Mbai in her discretionary powers granted the accused a bail sum of D10, 000 each with one Gambian surety who shall swear to an affidavit of means.
Meanwhile according to the charge pressed against Anthony Anita ,Chima Joy , Favour Ehikioya ,Victor Ubabuko ,Rita Charle , Callistas Chimaka , Blessing Godwin , Isiwele Favour,Chiwendu Okafor , Erika Omorodion , Blessing Alfred, Goodness John, Anita Ndawen ,Eva Ibeawchi , Blessing Chakalu , Mmesoma Joy , Titi Justice , Happy Frank , Joy Friday and Mary Dan revealed that on the 5th August 2023 at Durumakolong Kombo Central West Coast Region in the Republic of The Gambia ,they were found behaving in a disorderly and indecent manner in a public places.
