Mr. Yankuba Darboe, Commissioner General of the Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA) has hinted that the practice of undermining one another has reversed progress and will continue to roll back our development as a people.
Pull Him/Her Down (PHD) syndrome is still a widely used statement in The Gambia as the stampede for life intensifies in almost every aspect of public life.
The PHD syndrome exhibits itself in many ways at workplaces, homes, communities, and other public places.
It can assume the form of character assassination, misinformation, and disinformation as well as other machinations.
However, CG Darboe suggested that the PHD Syndrome can only roll back the country’s development.
“We keep reporting each other. We keep trying to bury each other. When are we going to achieve what we want to achieve?” CG Darboe stated at a recent meeting organized to whip up the interests of Gambians in partnering in business ventures.
