The 2nd Deputy National President of the National People’s Party (NPP) and the party’s Administrative Secretary on Saturday represented the NPP at the 4thExtraordinary Grand Congress of President TayyipErdogan’s AK Party.
Second deputy national president Hon. Alhaji Ablie SukuSinghateh and administrative secretary Seedy Sheriff Ceesay joined invited guests from across the world in Istanbul to represent the NPP in AK Party’s first congress after President Erdogan was returned to office in a tightly contested presidential election almost two months ago.
During their stay in Turkey, the NPP heavyweights had high-level engagements with high-profile AK Party figures.
On Friday, Messrs. Singhateh and Ceesay were hosted at a reception by the AK Party’s Vice Chairman cum the Foreign Minister of Turkey His Excellency ZaferSirakaya.
Shortly after the congress, the NPP reps. visited the AK Party’s secretariat, where they were involved in high-level discussions with the AK Party’s senior officials.
