A Senegalese national was Monday arrested at the Amdallaiborder post with 20 pills of ecstasy, a pistol, and four live rounds, DLEAG said.
According to the agency, its operatives also apprehended a female Bissau Guinean with 14 bundles of suspected cannabis sativa on 12 October 2023.
Meanwhile, DLEAG reported that some suspects have been taken into custody on suspected drug offenses.
The agency said a Farafenni resident Musa Faal was arrested by Kalagi DLEAG at Kalagi Check Point on 10October 2023, with 200 pieces of suspected kushconcealed in white papers and placed inside a transparent nylon bag.
“Lamin Baldeh and Siaka Camara, both residents of Faraba Sutu village, were arrested by Mandinaba DLEAG on the 6th October 2023, at around 19:45hrs onwards with (1) parcel of suspected cannabis sativa which is concealed in a white paper,” DLEAG announced on Thursday.
