The APRC said it’s erroneous for any political grouping to call itself APRC aside from the APRC recognized by the IEC.
The APRC categorically stated that it is tantamount to misrepresentation for any group to brand itself APRC.
This clarification followed a story that this medium recently carried, regarding the arrest and subsequent detention of Omar Sanneh known by his alias Baitullah. The story was captioned APRC Communications Director Accuse Senegalese Gov’t of Kidnapping Baitoullah.
APRC said there is no other bona fide APRC than the Fabakary Tombong Jatta-led APRC.
