Parliamentary Committee Embarks on Oversight Visit to Schools

The parliamentary Select Committee on Education, Training and ICT has embarked on oversight visit to schools in the Greater Banjul Area. This is part of the ongoing commitment to examine and enhance educational and training institutions in the country.

As part of the visit, the committee has actively engagedwith school administrations, dedicated staff, and all stakeholders across various departments. The schools visited so far included: Tallinding Islamic School, Carter Basic Cycle School, Apple Three International School, Aja Maimuna Savage Anglo Arabic School.

The visit is expected to provide valuable insights forthe committee members, empowering them with firsthand experience to make informed decisions. The chief mission is clearly to support and elevate educational institutions, ensuring that the best possible learning opportunities are given to all the students. The committee is also dedicated to the advancement and enhancement of education, training and ICT initiatives in the Gambia.
