All Walks of Life (AWOL) Gambia Chapter has launched the National Achievement Award(NAA) set to take place in December 2023.
AWOL The Gambia, is a non-governmental and Charity Cultural Organization registered with the National Council for Arts and Culture. Itsmembership consists of Sierra Leoneans, Gambians and other nationalities that share the principles of nationalism and patriotism with the ideology of selflessness.
Speaking during the grand launching of NAA 2023 held at FANDEMA Multimedia Company Conference Hall in Manjai, Gibriel M. KanuPresident of the organization discloses that his organization comprises of Gambians and Non-Gambians.
He said they have been trying to help needy people irrespective of their nationalities.
‘’We did a lot of efforts to help Sierra Leoneans and non-Sierra Leoneans by making contributions for the needy. We started with a cultural carnival and picnic but this time we introduced the National Achievement Award,’’ he noted.
“We don’t discriminate against people but we recognize their efforts and try to motivate themas well.’’
He thanked the government, the Sierra Leonean community and everyone for their immense efforts and commitment.
