A Dippa Kunda resident Yusupha Camara was yesterday arraigned at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court on an allegation of defiling a 17-year-old girl.
According to the charge sheet, Camara defiled the girl at Dippa Kunda in May of this year but he denied the charge.
Consequently, the prosecution officer Lamin Jammehfiled an application for the adjournment of the case, which was granted.
Magistrate Mben Faal, presiding, granted Camara bail in the sum of D100,000. He must also provide two Gambian sureties with valid ID cards as part of the bail requirements.
The case resumes on November 20.
