The defender for the Gambia’s U-20 side has found a new direction after formalizing a two-year contract with Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
Vancouver Whitecaps FC is a Canadian Major League Soccer side.
“Happy to announce that our Defender Dembo Saidykhan has finally left the country to join his new club Vancouver Whitecaps,” his former club Steve Biko announced.
Saidykhan was instrumental in Gambia’s dazzling performances at AFCON, WAFU and Fifa U-20 World Cup in Argentina.
Vancouver Whitecaps have now earned 48 points from 34 matches, taking them to sixth on the Western Conference rankings.
