Unique Global FC has made its new owners proud after beating GPA one nil barely a month after its takeover by owners Saul Frazer and Papa Yusupha Njie.
The team came from a first-match defeat to earn three points in the GFF’s second-tier league championship on Monday.
Elsewhere in the GFF’s second-tier fixtures, Gunjur United FC succumbed to the relegated former League One champions Hawks by 3-1 in a match played at Box Bar mini-stadium in Brikama. Hawks are now enjoying supremacy in the league as their encounter with GunjurUnited catapulted them to the top of the table.
Meanwhile, the game between Immigration FC and Kanifing East on day two ended with one goal apiece. Both sides have yet to win a match this season.
