League leader RS Tallinding Held to a Goalless by GPA

RS Tallinding FC, leader in the Gambia Football Division Two was held to a goalless stalemate by GPA in Banjul.

 

The Ferry Boys came the closest when they were awarded a penalty minutes into the second half but captain Malick Sarr’sstop kick-up was well saved by Modou S Bah.

 Despite the draw, RS Tallinding remains on top of the standings with 7 points while GPA collected just 2 points from a possible 9 points.

 

Elsewhere at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field, substitutes Saikou Secka and Ebrima Ndure came on to secure a narrow win for BK Milan. Secka tapped in a late winner after a magnificent pass from Ebrima Ndure.

Secka’s last gasp inside the additional time sealed the win for BK Milan in an encounter filled with excitement and fanfare.

Gambian Dutch Lions’s defender Ebrima Janneh was sent off for descent after the controversy that saw him toppled down before his opponent Ebrima Ndure could chip the ball into the six-yard.

It is the Gambian Dutch Lions’ first loss after winning two consecutive previous matches while BK Milan also doubled their winning streak following their previous win in Match Week Two.

Bakary Nyassi scored a late gasp for Jam City in a 2-1 win over Jarra West at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium. Jarra’s ChernoSey opened the scoring 7 minutes before Ansumana Bojangensured parity at the break with a stunning equalizer. The Jambanjelly-based outfit took the lead through Bakary Nyassi in the 84th minute to give his side maximum points.
