“President Adama Barrow is committed to transforming The Gambia. Politics is about positivity. It’s about telling people the truth. It’s about being accountable for your actions and deeds. As President, he believes that the people of The Gambia gave him an absolute mandate in 2016 and also in 2021. And as a government, we are committed to being equal to the task and to the assignment that you gave us to be in charge of your money. That is to usher in development,” the deputy speaker pointed out.

“He [President Barrow] has the National Development Plan from 2023 to 2027 and among them is to usher in unprecedented infrastructural development. He wants to be remembered for road infrastructure. He wants to be remembered for energy and electricity to each and every hamlet in The Gambia,” he added.

According to him, many development projects are currently being implemented across the country because the President is fighting corruption and financial indiscipline. “President Adama Barrow is fighting corruption and he is fighting financial indiscipline.
