BK Milan FC has risen to the top of the Gambia Football Federation League Division Two men’s competition courtesy of a 2-1 victory over Hart FC a match played Tuesday at Old Yundum.
The victory has seen the Bakau Kachically-based side move to 12 points just two above former leaders Hawks FC, who have a game in hand.
In another Match Day Five, Gambian Dutch Lions secured a comfortable 2-0 win away to SereKunda FC with EbrimaJallow’s brace to put an intriguing game to bed for the visitors. GDL are joint second with Hawks on 10 points although the Reds will play a game in hand.
In Banjul, GPA hosted Jarra West at the KG5 Mini stadium in a well-contested game.
Although the Dockway boys just scored in the opening 4th minute through Ousman Colley and wouldn’t add any more as Jarra West held to their nerves until the end of regulation time.
GPA now stands at sixth position moving from mid-table while Jarra West remains at the bottom table with only 2 points.
