He also pleaded not guilty to charges of being found in possession of stolen properties.
According to the charge sheet, Pa Yadeh on or about 5 December 2023, at Gunjur in the West Coast Region, broke and entered into the house of a certain Musa Bojang with intent to commit afelony, thereby committed an offence.
Details of count two stated that the accused stole D942,000.00 worth of property. The items, according to a court document, belonged to Musa Bojang.
However, Yadeh argued that he bought two solar panels that the police found with him and that the house in question was his property.
At that juncture, the accused was granted bail inthe sum of D1M with three Gambian sureties and was asked to provide the documents of the properties he claimed to have bought.
The case was adjourned to 13 February, 2024.
