His Royal Highness Prince Ebrima Sanyang will tomorrow join distinguished personalities from across the world at the Museum of the Future, Dubai following his nomination for the Good Fellows Award.
His Royal Highness has been nominated for this prestigious award in recognition of his outstanding contributions and leadership across multiple domains and for using his influence to foster positive change.
GOOD Fellows Award is an initiative anchored in the visionary principles of the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute (SWFI).
“The “GOOD Fellow” nomination serves as a global recognition, honoring individuals for remarkable contributions in their specialized fields. Your impeccable leadership and achievements epitomize the spirit of this award, which is harnessing influence, be it through wealth, innovation, or celebrity stature, to make a palpable difference in the world,” stated a letter sent to HRH Prince Sanyang to notify him of his nomination for the covetous award.
“Selecting nominees for the GOOD Fellows recognition involves an in-depth and thorough procedure. Our selection panel meticulously assesses each candidate, guaranteeing that only those whose achievements fully embody the essence of the award are put forward for consideration,” added the letter.
After perusing his accomplishments, the selection panel has determined that Prince Sanyang is profoundly deserving of this honor for his dedication to cultural and historical stewardship among other things.
“We celebrate your dedication to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Soninke Royal Realm. Your stewardship as the “Sibi Karang Mansa” has been instrumental in safeguarding the traditions and sacred sites that are a cornerstone of your community’s identity and history,” the panel recognized.
His Impact on Development Economics has also convinced the panel that he is the right man for nomination.
“Your contributions as a strategic development economist, advising governments and organizations across Africa, have significantly shaped the economic landscape of the continent. Your expertise in international development project financing and public sector reforms reflects a deep understanding of the economic challenges and opportunities facing Africa today,” acknowledged the panel.
HRH Prince Sanyang’s leadership in investment and finance did not also escape the notice and recognition of the panel.
“Your work as an investor and market financier, influencing a wide range of sectors from agriculture to infrastructure, has driven economic growth and diversification. Your strategic vision and leadership in these fields have not only enhanced economic stability but also created new opportunities for development and prosperity,” wrote the panel.
“Your philanthropic endeavors, particularly through the Prince Ebrahim Future Africa Foundation, demonstrate a profound commitment to empowering communities. Your focus on self-sufficiency and resource provision has played a crucial role in uplifting the lives of many, offering pathways to independence and dignity,” it added.
The role of Prince in environmental advocacy has also made him an ideal nominee for this prestigious award.
“As a passionate environmentalist, your efforts to integrate sustainable practices into development initiatives are commendable. Your advocacy in this area highlights the importance of balancing economic progress with environmental stewardship, ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come,” the panel recognized.
Not only that but the panel has also recognized his invaluable role in international diplomacy.
“Your engagement in international diplomacy and membership in Chatham House underlines your role as a global thinker and leader. Your contributions in this arena have fostered greater understanding and cooperation on an international scale, enhancing diplomatic relations and global discourse,” it said.
