The GRA’s revenue generation drive for 2024 got off to a spectacular start as the country’s revenue mobilization agency raked D1.7 billion at January’s end.
This revelation was made by the Commissioner General of the GRA, Yankuba Darboe, as he delivered a statement at the GPA’s stakeholder consultative meeting on Tuesday.
“Let me draw your attention. By the end of January, GRA was able to collect, for the first time in the history of this country,over D1.7 billion,” CG Darboe announced.
Meanwhile, the Gambia government has set for the GRA a D19 billion revenue target this year.
