The Brikama Area Council (BAC) will disburse D14M to the various wards in the West Coast Region, said a press release from the BAC.
The money, according to the release, will be disbursed on Wednesday, 28th February. The release said D500,000 would be disbursed to each ward as a development fund.
“As a testament to progress, we’re allocating D14,000,000.00 to 28 wards in the West Coast Region. Each ward will receive D500,000.00 as a development fund, addressing pressing needs like fencing women’s gardens, completing markets, replacing borehole equipment, and more,” the statement read.
It revealed that the Brikama Area Council now has a surplus of D25,000,000.00 after inheriting D10,000,000.00 from the previous administration.
