Africell has regained its former glory as the highest tax-paying business entity in The Gambia.
The GSM company made a spectacular comeback announced on Saturday at the 6th Edition of the GRA Taxpayer Award Ceremony at Kairaba Beach Hotel.
Africell was the winner of the GRA’s 2021 highest tax-paying company award but it slipped to ECO Bank the previous year.
The cellular company, however, reclaimed its status after it was declared winner of the Highest Tax-Paying Company Award for unfailingly presenting its tax returns, honoring its tax obligation, observing tax laws, providing vital telecommunications services, effectively executing its corporate/social responsibility role among other words of corporate excellence on the citation.
