The lawmaker from Tallinding Kunjang constituency, Hon. Musa Badjie, has frowned at the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MOBSE) for inadequate learning materials at Tallinding Senior School.
Hon. Badjie, in an interview with this medium, expressed disappointment with the Ministry due to their negligence towards the school.
According to him, this batch is the first set of grade ten students at Tallinding and the Ministry failed to provide them with learning equipment.
“How do you expect the teachers to teach the students when they lack the necessary materials” he asked rhetorically.
Hon. Badjie noted that the Ministry did not make any prior arrangements for the new principal, talkless of necessary tools and materials for the school.
“I wonder how the children will learn when the Ministry responsible for education cannot provide the needs of the school,” he stressed.
The lawmaker from Tallinding reminded the Ministry that it is a (school) landmark development for the people of Tallinding, and also the new principal and the headmistress of the upper basic for their efforts in ensuring that the grade ten classes kicked off despite receiving no assistance from the Ministry.
