The Alkalo of Barra, Alhaji Babucarr Faye, has responded to the appeal of President AdamaBarrow to provide free transport for students, security agents, health workers and people with special healthcare needs.
Alkalo Faye has agreed to make two of his boats available for ferrying these categories of people across the Banjul-Barra ferry route.
“This guy is a great man and he has a big heart not only for his community but the entire country,” acknowledged the transport minister.
