By Arret Jatta

Sering John and his two brothers Mahmoud John and Alagie A John, filed a complaint against their brother Badou John over a land their late mother left behind, this matter was presided at the Bundung Magistrate Court (presiding Cadi name withheld).

Sering John the complainant, told the Kadi that he wants the land that their mother left for them which is situated in Sukuta to be shared amongst them.

“When my mom passed away she left an empty land but now I have built two houses there where all my brothers are living in including him BadouJohn, so now I want the land to be valued so that everyone can take their share so that peace  can reign”, he said

Badou John the accused person responded by saying that his mother started building the houses before she passed away and his brother only completed them.

He added that the room and parlor he’s currently living is built by him.

“I don’t mind sharing the land equally but I’m not living the house”, he said.

The other brothers also said they want the land to be shared.

The complainant said they have sister mam NaffieJohn and according to him she doesn’t want to be apart of this whole issue.

The Cadi however said she should come to the court and say that herself.

The Cadi adjourned the case till June 3rd and asked them to bring two witnesses and the death certificate of their mother.
