Shake-up At Police

There has been a shake-up at the Gambia Police Force (GPF)as the Police High Command published on Tuesday key redeployments.

The Voice has gathered that Commissioner Nfamara Jallowhas been moved from URR to WCR as regional police commissioner whilst AIG DembaSowe reportedly bounced back as the Crime Management Coordinator.

Sources also said AIG Ebrima Bah of Operations has been redeployed to Admin while Commissioner Buba Sarr has been redeployed as his deputy. “Commissioner Pateh S.H Jallow is now the Acting Operations Commander at the Police HQ in Banjul. Former Commissioner of WCR, Kalilu Njie, has beenredeployed to the Licensing Department whileCommissioner Samba Jawo has been moved to theKanifing Municipality. Former Personal Assistant to the IGP Mustapha Ndong is the new Commissioner of Administration,” sources said.

Meanwhile, AIG Landing Bojang and Commissioner LalaCamara of Banjul Region have all retired from active service, according to dependable sources.

In another development, 900 police officers have been elevated to various junior and senior ranks as published on Tuesday at the police HQ.
