The “polisol” hit-maker Nyancho and his management “Apachaky Entertainment”announced the launch of the musician’s double album titled “Kairo Aning Tenkungho” (Peace and Stability).
The launch is scheduled for the 23rd of November this year at Qcity.
Speaking to journalists at the unveiling of the album launch date on Monday at the KMC conference room, the Afro Manding singerNyancho said, the reason for the release of thedouble album is to compensate for his inability to release an album last year.
“Before I could announce my album’s release datelast year, other artists had already announced their date. So, I didn’t want mine to collide with anyone’s date and that is why I moved both albums to this year, making it a double album. This album contains 18 tracks and collaborating songs with other artists as well,” he explained.
Nyancho urged his fellow artists to embrace one another rather than seeing each other as competitors.
“We can succeed together if we embrace one another,” he added.
He promised his fans and music lovers that his upcoming album would be extraordinary, featuring captivating songs.
Nyancho’s manager Dembo Jobarteh popularlyreferred to as D Jobz said the title of the album “Kairo Aning Tenkungho” is a unique name meant to restore peace and stability among Gambian artistes engaged in unhealthy competition.
“Nyancho has never been involved in a beef with any artists in this country for ten years or more. So, the only person that could’ve come up with this project is Nyancho. The concept behind the album is in connection with the ongoing tensions in the industry. The Gambia has a lot of talents and for us to realize that we need to support each other. We should embrace each other and avoid unhealthy beefs,” he said.
After separating for over two years, D Jobzannounced that he resumed the role of Nyancho’smanager, saying that conflict is inevitable but the most important thing is making peace at the end of the day.
He also disclosed that Nyancho is expected to perform in India, Afghanistan, Pakistan and other countries in the Middle East to diversify his music and spread the message of peace.
