The Governor commenced her duty by meeting the staff at the Governor’s Office to discuss some important issues including a commitment to duties and rules governing civil service to bring about good results at the workplace.

Commenting on traditional administration, the Governor said her office will engage and support chiefs to settle all land problems for agricultural and residential purposes. She noted that cases of farmland during the rainy season should be adequately looked into while calling on chiefs to sensitize the population on or before the rainy season on land use and find alternative ways of solving land problems.
