Muhammed Ngum a resident of SukutaWednesday appeared before Magistrate Tourayof Kanifing Magistrates’ Court accused ofstealing money from Ebrima Jawo.
The particular of offence stated that the accused, Muhammed on June 21 stole the sum of D7,500.00 from Mr. Jawo who lives in Bakoteh.
The statement of offence against the accused person alleged of stealing money contrary to section 252 of the criminal code. The accused person pleaded guilty to the charge when it was read out to him.
The presiding magistrate then said the accused person is admitted to bail in the sum of 17,000.000 Dalasi with two Gambian sureties who shall deposit their valid national identity cards or passports for the accused person to be given a bail.
The matter is adjourned to 16 of July for commencement of hearing of more evidence.
