The Association of Armitage High School Graduate of 1977 recently launched the Sana Jawara Memorial Campus WI-FI Network at a ceremony held at the school ground meant to enhance students in their education.
The ceremony was attended by senior executives of the association led by the president of the association.
The school has received numerous support from the past students who have committed to improve the academic performance of the students.
This latest initiative by the 1977 graduates will also boost the standard of the school as part of an effort to create a conducive learning environment.
The Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Basic and Secondary, Education, Adama Jimba Jobeand the Deputy Secretary of the Association, Essa Sowe both challenged students to make best use of the facility
Isatou Dea Sawaneh, the president of the association, expressed joy for being part of the association to extend such support to the school, while renewing the association’s commitment and continuous support to the school.
To ensure maintenance and serviceability of the facility, Madam Sawaneh appealed to the management of the school to introduce general contribution as a cost of maintenance of the facility.
The vote of thanks was delivered by the outgoing head boy of the school commending the association for their timely support.
