Sare Nyanga Students Association (SNSA) in the Niani District, Central River Region North recently held its fourth annual sensitization ceremony held at Sare Nyanga Lower Basic School.
The annual event was meant to raise awareness of Sare Nyangaresidents and satellite communities on the importance of education, environmental protection, natural resource preservation, climate change; civil education; youth empowerment; conflict resolution, and others.
In his remarks, Momodou Sowe, President of SNSA commended members of the association for their hard work towards the smooth implementation of the annual event and extended appreciation to the residents for their commitment and support to the association.
He informed the gathering of the primary aim of the association saying it is to promote education in the community and satellite communities.
“We want to see that children of Sare Nyanga and satellite communities are educated. We want to make sure the village is clean and hygienic, And also to enhance unity and social cohesion among youth,” he stated.
Discussing the association’s achievements, he said the association has been supporting students to continue their education.
Moving forward, he said the group has been embarking on community and school cleansing exercises.

ed the village’s youth to remain united and work harder to enhance social development in the village.
Pierr Bah, chief of Niani District commended the youth of SareNyanga for their foresight and commitment to the community’s development.
Khalipha Sowe, guest speaker, Dr. Demba Baldeh, a specialist on climate change, Ebrima P. Bah, district youth chairperson for Niani District, the chief of the Sare Nyanga, Musa Jallow, resident of Mbulbuk village, Oustas Demba Baldeh among others all delivered speeches and commended the Sare Nyangayouth for organizing such an event.
