Abdoulie Jallow on Tuesday denied stealing charges pressed against him when appeared before the Kanifing Magistrate Court presided over by Principal Magistrate Isatou O Njie.
Given the particular of his offence, Abdoulie Jallow did on the 23rd day of June 2024, at Dippakunda in the Kanifing Municipal Council of the Republic of the Gambia stole one Mobile phone mark Samsung valued at Seven Thousand five hundred dalasi (D7,500.000) being the property of one Mariama Jallow, thereby committed an offence.
The accused person denied the charge against him when it was read to him.
The prosecution didn’t object to his bail while the prosecution sought for an adjournment date to the court to enable him to secure the witness.
The bail application was granted by Principal Magistrate IsatouO Njie for the sum of ten thousand Dalasi (D10,000.00 ) with one Gambian surety while the case was adjourned to the 21st of July 2024.
