AU Executive Council: Morocco Elected to AU’s Advisory Board Against Corruption19 July 2024

Accra – Morocco, represented by Nadia Annouz, Vice-President of the National Authority for Probity, Prevention, and Fight against Corruption, was elected on Friday 19th July 2024, in Accra, Ghana as a member of the African Union (AU) Advisory Board Against Corruption (AUABC) for a 6-year term, during the 45th session of the AU Executive Council.

Morocco’s candidate, Nadia Annouz, earned the member position reserved for the Northern Region on the AUABC with a large majority of 35 votes.
This election testifies to the model expertise of Moroccan profiles in the fight against corruption at national and continental level.

The Executive Council of the African Union began its 45th ordinary session in Accra on Thursday.
Morocco was represented at this session by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Mr. Nasser Bourita.
