Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the alleged murder that was reported in Basse in the early hours of Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
“Following the discovery of a body lying in the street of Basse, the police responded promptly and transported the body to BasseDistrict Hospital for an initial medical examination,” said the Police PRO Cadet ASP Modou Musa Sisawo.
“An investigation into the circumstances has begun, and a suspect has already been taken into custody. The public will be kept informed about the progress of the investigation,” he added.
