A bicycle theft in Jarra Soma last week led to the discovery of 28 bicycles that were reportedly stolen in Soma and neighboring communities, this medium has gathered.
According to reports, a criminal complaint was recently lodged at the Soma police station about the alleged theft of a bicycle at the market of the busy provincial town.
“The police launched an investigation and discovered that 28 stolen bicycles were sold in Soma’s nearby settlements,” our source said.
Buba Nyang and Yaya Bojang have been arrested in connection with the bicycle crimes in the Soma general area.
The police said Yaya Bojang has admitted to selling the stolen bicycles in Medina Kaif in Kiang.
Investigations were in progress, said the police.
