Two Arraigned for Alleged Fraud

Two men Musa Bojang and Abdou Camara were on Tuesdayarraigned before Principal Magistrate Fatou Darboe of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court for defrauding a woman of over D200,000.

Prosecutors alleged that Musa Bojang and Abdou Camara, by pretense and with intent to defraud one Satang Jaiteh, obtained D250,000 from her last year with the pretext of selling her a piece of land at Brikama Jamisa, measuring 25m X 24m. 

They pleaded not guilty to the charge and were consequently granted court bail in the sum of D250,000 and each must provide a surety of Gambian nationality.

The case resumes on September,10th.
