Introduction RAH Asset Management (RAHAM) is seeking proposals from qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide comprehensive design and technical drawing services for the modernisation of Bubaque Airport. This project aims to transform Bubaque Airport into a state-of-the-art regional airport facility that is environmentally sustainable and economically beneficial to the Bubaque Island community, Guinea Bissau and Wider Regional Community.
Project Overview The project involves the redevelopment of Bubaque Airport to include a 2KM runway, three distinct terminals (Private Jet/VVIP, Passenger, and Light Aircraft), a 30KM road network on the island, and additional developmental zones such as a Beach Front Tourism Development Area (TDA), Billionaires District, a Cultural and Festival District, and an Agua Safari.
Scope of Services The selected firm will be expected to provide the following services:-
Preliminary assessments and feasibility studies.
Detailed architectural designs and engineering technical drawings.
Environmental impact assessments in line with UNESCO heritage guidelines.
Integration of sustainable and green technologies in design proposals.
Coordination with local authorities for regulatory compliance and approvals.
Proposal Requirements Proposals must include:-
Firm’s profile and experience in similar projects.
Detailed methodology and approach for the project.
Portfolio of past projects, especially in airport design and sustainable development.
Proposed project team and qualifications of key personnel.
Project timeline and key milestones.
Detailed budget breakdown and pricing model.
References from previous clients.
Evaluation Criteria Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria: –
Professional expertise and experience in airport infrastructure projects.
Quality and innovativeness of previous project designs.
Approach to sustainability and environmental considerations.
Cost-effectiveness and comprehensiveness of the proposal.
References and satisfaction of past clients.
