Tigers FC held Erejang United to a goalless draw in their first game of the season.
Erejang United registered victory in their first outing but failed to go past Tigers on Tuesday.
It was a local derby at the Serekunda West mini stadium as the two teams, which share the same training ground locked horns. This apparently spiced the game but neither of the side was able to break the deadlock during the regulation time.
Musa Sanyang, the Head Coach of Tigers FC, said: “The game went according to our plans. I know it was going to be a very tough and balanced game.”
He urged his players to keep up the hard work so that could secure victory in their second game of the season.
Pollisn Sambou, the head coach of Erejang FC, said that they have kept their composure throughout because both teams knew each other very well, noting that the game went well for his side.
