Luzan FC played out a barren draw against Anfield FC at the Serekunda West mini stadium on Sunday, September 22nd, 2024.
Both sides pulled the strings for a winner, but both defensive setups were disciplined and very reluctant to open up any space for their opponent to capitalize on for punishment. The entire game ended 0:0 in the regulation.
Baba Gomez, the head coach of Anfield, said that the game was not bad compared to their previous fixture, while he encourages his boys to go back to the field and work for it in the next encounter.
Kawsu Jallow, head coach of Luzan FC, said: “The game was very poor because the expectations were very high, and we didn’t score goal.”
He called for a more concerted effort if they wanted to achieve their desires for the season. Luzan FC won one game and drew another, while Anfield FC lost one.
