Gintons FC drew for the second time against group opponent DK FC in a goalless stalemate at the Serekunda West Sports Development Organisation’s summer Nawattan on the 24th of September, 224.
It was a well contested game between DK FC and Ginton FC as both sides shared a close rivalry because they trained on the same ground.
DK FC and Gintons wasted many clear goal-scoring chances in game.
Abdoulie Mubarak Jallow, the head coach of Gintons FC, said they came to win but unfortunately, they settled for a draw but blamed it on lack of focus.
“Is it lack of concentration if not we should score a goal, however need to go back to the drawing board and adjust on our mistakes so that we will collect 3 points from our next game against Hunters FC.
Lamin Fatty, the head coach of DK FC, said they aimed to bag the maximum 3 points so that they can stand on 7 points to top the group.
“We tried so hard to win, as you can see we created many clear chances, but couldn’t take them. That’s football sometimes,” he noted.
Gintons FC drew both their games while DK FC drew two and won one.
